The Nomad Design Heavy Jig Rods are 1-piece, big game saltwater jigging rods designed for big spinning tackle jigging outfits. Developed, designed, and tested in Nomad Design's home waters and one of the toughest saltwater fisheries in the world: Australia's Great Barrier reef - so you know they can be trusted in intense saltwater fishing scenarios.
Designed to be lightweight and responsive, Nomad Design's heavy jig range has a balanced design with the power to muscle big fish up to the surface while still possessing the finesse to work a jig for long periods without wearing you out. The Nomad Design Jigging rods feature medium tapers matched with stiffer tip sections and super-strong butt sections. This creates a lightweight rod that imparts extra action to the jig and is easier to fight fish with.
For unbeatable strength and sensitivity, they are made from Helix30T 30-ton Japanese Toray Carbon blanks that have more than enough power to bring in trophy fish.
